    May 20, 2019 - Ten C-47 "Gooney Bird" airplanes flown during World War II left Sunday from Connecticut to return to Normandy, France for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The flights honor the sacrifice and courage of millions of soldiers, sailors, pilots, paratroopers, flight nurses, and the civilians who supported them. It’s being organized by the D-Day Squadron.
